Die schlichte Holzkarte ist zwar am schönsten aber man sollte radicant auf einen Blick erkennen und deshalb finde ich die grossen grünen Wurzeln am prägnantesten.

Will the card be made of actual wood or is it a wood-print?

The outer layers of the card are made from real wood. The card core consists of recycled plastic (needed to hold the chip and the contactless antenna). Compared to a standard plastic card, this results in a reduction of plastic by roughly 80%.

I am a little late to this discussion, but I have a question. What about the cost, and eventually, impact of production of such a card? Multiplayer, wooden surface (which needs to laminated), etc. Finally, how long would such a card hold?
